This is “Got Money.”
Best rapper alive? Possibly…
Worst lip-syncer alive? For sure.
Still a good vid.

Political endorsements coming soon
Truth on Point’s political endorsements should be online in just a few days, if not a few hours.
I will highlight my reasons behind why I have chosen to support a particular candidate for Washington State Governor and President in separate posts.

M.I.A. – Paper Planes
This is late, for a reason.
I never posted this video because it came out about a month before this blog even started, and I never really intended to post it. Ever since the trailers for the new (and incredible looking) movie “Pineapple Express” began to show on TV literally every 30 seconds, the song has crept back [...]

More J5
I was a bit surprised by the response (most viewed in the last 24hrs) I got to yesterday’s post about Jurassic 5, I thought I’d post another video in case anyone is interested in seeing or hearing more.
Originally, Jurassic 5 is from LA and was comprised of 6 members from two different crews: The Unity Committee and [...]

Some Classic Jay-Z Videos
This is “Sunshine.”
Not his best song, nor his best video, and definitely something I’m sure he wished never happened. This is back when Jay-Z wasn’t bit time enough to have Babyface be in the song AND video. Supposedly this video was set up by the label heads in order to make him more ‘commercially appealing.’
[...]

Jay-Z in studio
These are clips from Jay-Z’s ‘Fade to Black’ DVD chronicling the creation of ‘The Black Album.’ The earlier post about Jay-Z possibly having Timbaland produce his next album was inspiration for this here post.
Jay-Z flew down to Miami for inspiration and came home with ‘Dirt Off Your Shoulder.’
Making “Lucifer” with Kanye [...]

Classic Material – Jurassic 5
Though not the most commercially successful rap group of all time, J5 still managed to make a notable impact on the art form and in my opinion is the best rap group (duo’s not included) of all time, with the exception of A Tribe Called Quest. Its unfortunate they had to break up.
This is “Quality Control”

Classic Material – Slum Village
“Selfish”
I like the whole vibe this video gives off. The editing is superb and the dancing is good as well.

Breaking News: Timbaland to produce Jay-Z’s next album
Maybe.
Timbo recently told MTV News:
“We wanna go to the world. The world is ‘Big Pimpin’.’ ‘Big Pimpin’ is an international hit, so we wanna do 10 of those. … I’mma have songs with bagpipes. The music is gonna be so worldwide, he’ll be able to tour the rest of his life, maybe, off just this one [...]

Cast announced for “Family Guy” spinoff “Cleveland”
As most of you may already know, Fox has created a Family Guy spinoff featuring Peter’s neighbor Cleveland. The show is set to debut mid-season, or summer, 2009.
Since announcing the spinoff, Fox has been both questioned and criticized for Cleveland’s voice being provided by a white actor, Mike Henry. Henry, who is also the voice of characters Herbert and [...]

Food find: full line of (American style) Kobe beef
This post is mostly for my Seattle folk because Metropolitan Market is only here, and is a great spot in Seatown to pick up all different types of high-quality food for a connoisseur such as myself.
I try hit up Metropolitan Market (or as I call it, Metro) about once a week or more and usually make a [...]
